Amanda Jarratt

Family Mediation Lawyer

My name is Amanda. I earned my Law Degree with Highest Honors from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2005. I worked as a litigation attorney on civil and family law matters for the first 10 years of my career. In 2013, I completed my Mediator Certification through the Congress of Neutrals. Following my certification, Phillip Neiman, a renowned Marin County Mediator, mentored me.

As a mediation lawyer, I am able to serve families for a reasonable fee. I am able to help them find closure in months rather than years, and I am able to reduce their stress by helping them to focus on building futures they want to live in rather than fighting over a past that is no more.

Why Did I become a Mediation Lawyer?

I became a mediation lawyer because I saw a lot of waste in the court process: wasted time, wasted money, and wasted stress. I want my work to help people solve their problems quickly, effectively, and for a reasonable cost. As a mediation lawyer, I work directly with the parties, rather than their attorneys.

I have spent most of my career helping couples end their marriages with dignity and respect. I frequently work with couples with children because parents can end a marriage but they cannot end the bond of shared children. Divorcing parents need a professional like myself to help them navigate the return to single life without destroying the family that they share.

In addition to helping couples dissolve marriages, I help individuals negotiate partnership agreements, partnership dissolutions, and prenuptial agreements.

I look forward to hearing from you. I know together we can find resolutions that meet the needs of your entire family.
